Allegrini's Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Corte Giara La Groletta, has an impenetrable ruby red color in the glass. The nose is a persuasive succession of aromas of ripe red fruit, tobacco and dark spices. The taste is powerful and at the same time velvety, supported by smooth tannins and a fresh and well-integrated acid shoulder. The finish is long and memorable. It pairs well with aged cheeses and opulent red meat and game dishes.
