PHILOSOPHY: Intense peatiness
This is the first 10 year aged version of Tomintoul distillery's peaty whisky, only heavy peaty malt was used for this single malt. It shows an amber color, spicy and slightly sweet aromas, with notes of peat, oak and ginger. The palate is simple but well balanced, with notes of vanilla, licorice and a slight hint of black pepper. The finish is long, intense and with some smoky notes.
