''Pyrope'' is a mineral belonging to the garnet group, which has a purple hue and was used as a poetic metaphor for Tuscan wine by Renaissance writers. This wine undergoes fermentation in 50 HL French oak barrels for 18 days. Maturation in 20 HL French oak barrels for at least 24 months. Finally, it is aged in bottle for at least 9 months before release.
