VARIETY: Rosé
GRAPE VARIETY: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah
Scalabrone was the nickname of a bandit who lived in 1800 in the land of wine from which he inherited his name. It is obtained from grapes of international vines such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah closely linked to the Bolgheri area in Donoratico, not far from those cypress trees of Carduccian memory, in vineyards overlooking the Tyrrhenian coast and which give this wine those pleasant sensations of freshness that so comfort the palate and taste. The grapes were vinified separately with a brief rest on the skins to extract the right color gradation. This was then followed by assembly and refinement in steel vats before being bottled. A bright cherry pink, it smells of geranium and raspberries, with a beautiful note of pomegranate to color everything. Round and pleasant, almost sweet and fresh overall.
